A good Riesling is like a window into the vineyard and the winemaker. John Little’s talent for creating wines with depth of character and vitality is abundantly clear in this off-dry, extremely aromatic Riesling. It has rich fruity flavors of mango, apricot and melon, finely balanced with bright acid tones.

Nothing quite compares to a sunset over the water, unless you’re describing Rio Vista’s glorious Sunset on the River. This wine is a unique blend of 40% Pinot Gris, 40% Gewurztraminer and 20% Chardonnay that tantalizes the taste buds with a subtle finish of raspberries. A perfect balance of sugars and acids make this the ideal wine to sip as the sun sets over your favorite location.

A wine’s personality and heritage comes from both the vineyard and the way it was made. Grown in the glacial soil of Antoine Creek Vineyards, just up the Columbia River from us, and created by Rio Vista’s winemaker, John Little, it is lush, fruity and complex.

You’ll go crazy trying to sort out all the unique flavors of this special blend sourced mostly from 2010 Chardonnay estate grapes. The tangle of pear, peach and apple notes are combined with the distinct characteristics of two different yeasts used during fermentation and a brief association with French oak.

This captivating Rosè tastes as beautiful as it looks. Made from 50% Merlot and 50% Syrah, the grapes were crushed and left on the skins for 24 hours before fermentation. A rush of crisp fruit flavor leading with strawberry and old-fashioned pie cherry make for a lip-smacking great wine.

Winemaker John Little’s signature wine is created from 3 exciting reds:  Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon and barrel-aged for 18 months in oak.  It is loaded with black cherry, plum and chocolate flavors and is complex, smooth and elegant.

This silky wine opens with aromas of plum and rich coffee as it whispers of black cherry and boysenberry across the tongue. Tannins developed in new oak add to the complexity of this fine estate wine.
