This is truly an expressive Chardonnay with delightful flavors of butterscotch, ripe pear and summer peach. Due to its brief association with French oak this Chardonnay is not a true “naked” Chardonnay, as was our previous ‘no-oak’ Chardonnay.
John likes to refer to this wine as a “bikini” Chardonnay. You’ll love it! This lovely white wine is a celebration between the relationship between Rio Vista Wines and Lake Chelan Seaplanes and to the many trips they make to the Winery on the River.

The 2010 vintage is luscious, off-dry, and displays honey and spicy golden raisin aromas. Silver Medal
The 2011 vintage is sweeter and finishes with the hints of pineapple and apricot.

pear and melon with notes of almond.

The blending of Chardonnay with Viognier, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer in 2010 was such a good idea that we are continuing this special blend. A tangle of flavors, including pear, peach and apple are released.

Rio Vista’s newest red wine is a marvelous, Italian-style Barbera sourced from Antoine Creek Vineyards, just three miles up-river from Rio Vista.
This newly-released wine is a very food-friendly red wine with bright acidity, reduced tannin and subdued oak undertones. Fruit spills across the palate with flavors of pie cherry, blueberry and rose petal.

This captivating Rosè tastes as beautiful as it looks. Made from 50% Merlot and 50% Syrah, the grapes were crushed and left on the skins for 24 hours before fermentation. A rush of crisp fruit flavor leading with strawberry and old-fashioned pie cherry make for a lip-smacking great wine.

This silky wine opens with aromas of plum and rich coffee as it whispers of black cherry and boysenberry across the tongue. Tannins developed in new oak add to the complexity of this fine estate wine.

Winemaker John Little’s signature wine is created from 3 exciting reds:  Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon and barrel-aged for 18 months in oak.  It is loaded with black cherry, plum and chocolate flavors and is complex, smooth and elegant.
